With the Wine Protector, you can preserve your opened wine in the simplest and safest way and extend its shelf life by at least 3 weeks. With the Wine Protector, a protective gas cushion is quickly placed over the wine surface of the opened bottle. At the touch of a button, some of the air that has penetrated the empty volume of the bottle is flushed out and the odorless and tasteless protective gas is placed over the surface of the wine. As the protective gas is heavier than air, it cannot rise and thus effectively prevents contact between the wine and the air. The original taste of the wine remains unchanged. Gas protection capsules containing the protective gas N2O are used. When the capsule is empty after 30 to 40 applications, it is simply replaced.
